Bad Boy artists and recipients of the 2009 BET Award for Best Group - DAY26 have just scored a 2009 American Music Award nomination in the R&B/Soul Favorite Group, Band or Duo category.
This marks the group's first AMA nomination. "It feels amazing to be recognized by the American Music Awards committee," says Brian Angel Andrews. "Just being nominated is a feeling that we cannot describe," adds Willie Taylor.
The 2009 American Music Awards will air live on Sunday, November 22nd at 8p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Fans are encouraged to cast their vote, as winners will be determined by online voting via www.amavote.com. (PR)
