Perez Hilton Gets his ASS kicked.

Although we over here at Radiance Entertainment will never promote violence of any kind, we cannot side with Perez Hilton on this one. Perez Hilton, while at the Much Music Awards in Toronto, allegedly got punched in the face by Will.i.am (Black Eyed Peas) manager Polo. Perez says in his video blog that he was followed back to his hotel thereafter the incident happened and he feared for his life. So, he ended up calling 911......they could not come fast enough.....so he was twittering about it.....then his twitter friends was calling the police in Toronto and so on.

In journalism your suppose stay neutral, but in this situation here's our take:

Perez Hilton, you talk sh** (excuse our French) on a daily basis about people, their families and kids. You cannot expect to never get an ass whopping at least once in your life. You all remember the saying "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." That is not true, words do hurt Perez. The little bruise that Polo put on you will heal in a week. It's called KARMA Perez, K-A-R-M-A. Just to warn you, THIS IS NOT THE LAST TIME THAT YOU WILL GET YOUR ASS KICKED. Just take our advice: Suck it up, hold your head up high and keep talking more crap.

Beyonces' Publicist issues a statement

The cancellation of the launch party for Beyonce's "I AM..." tour, first scheduled for this Saturday at M2, was a result of a breach of contract by the promoter. Beyonce never had a contract with the club itself and no one in her camp dealt directly with the venue. The superstar was never scheduled to perform but was to serve as a co-host and introduce singer/songwriter Solange's performance. Patrons were falsely promised a performance by Beyonce.

Radiance viewers, you may want to think twice about downloading music!!!!!

A federal jury Thursday found a 32-year-old Minnesota woman guilty of illegally downloading music from the Internet and fined her $80,000 each -- a total of $1.9 million -- for 24 songs.

Illegal downloads of musical files will cost a Minnesota woman $1.9 million, a jury has decided.

Jammie Thomas-Rasset's case was the first such copyright infringement case to go to trial in the United States, her attorney said.

Attorney Joe Sibley said that his client was shocked at fine, noting that the price tag on the songs she downloaded was 99 cents.

Cara Duckworth, a spokeswoman for the Recording Industry Association of America, said the RIIA was "pleased that the jury agreed with the evidence and found the defendant liable."

"We appreciate the jury's service and that they take this as seriously as we do," she said.

Thomas-Rasset downloaded work by artists such as No Doubt, Linkin Park, Gloria Estefan and Sheryl Crow.

This was the second trial for Thomas-Rasset. The judge ordered a retrial in 2007 after there was an error in the wording of jury instructions.

The fines jumped considerably from the first trial, which granted just $220,000 to the recording companies.

Kelis: What recession?

Kelis (former wife of rapper Nas) has been in the media's daily briefings everyday now. However, this time around, its about her monthly esxpenses . Our friends over at Eurweb says

Singer Kelis has just submitted her financial information to the court, reports TMZ, in an attempt to get support and baby expenses from estranged husband Nas.

Kelis says from Nov. 2008 to April 2009, her average monthly income was $21,616. She's far from struggling, but the amount is a drastic reduction from what she and Nas were earning while they were together.

The R&B star, whose first baby with Nas is due this month, has some pretty hefty expenses -- $80,831 a month ... way more than she says she makes. The "Milkshake" singer says she hasn't toured in a year and most of her income comes from her concerts.

The artist says she spends $14,861 on her mortgage. Her nanny costs $3,500 a month. She spends $15,000 a month on entertainment, gifts and vacations, and she says it cost $175 to have the "baby rug dry cleaned."

Speaking of sued....Now it's Queen B!

Beyonce is reportedly being sued for backing out of an upcoming concert she has. Here's how angryape is reporting it:

Knowles was scheduled to perform in New York at the M2 club tomorrow (Saturday June 20), for a fee of $200,000.

But club owners were allegedly told on Wednesday (June 17) that Beyonce wouldn't be performing anymore, because she is in preparation for her North American tour.

Representatives did however say Beyonce could make a personal appearance, but club boss Joey Morrissey isn't satisfied.

He tells PageSix: "They said they were too busy with the launching of the tour and that they wouldn't have time to do the kickoff party."

"We sold tables for thousands of dollars for the show, and spent $100,000 renting a soundboard and other equipment, as per their stipulations."

"What good does her showing up for an hour do me? They've been totally unwilling to agree to another show."

"We had an overwhelming response from our clubgoers, who were lining up to buy tickets and tables. This will come as a great disappointment to all of them."

"If Beyonce cancels and doesn't give us a new date, this hurts our credibility in nightlife."
