No dance film is safe in the "explosively funny spoof" (New York Times) DANCE FLICK, busting a move on Blu-ray September 8, 2009 from Paramount Home Entertainment. Bringing together the comedic talents of two generations of the Wayans family which "grinds through the formulaic with its parody buzz saw" (Los Angeles Times), the outrageous send up takes on recent dance films such as Step Up, Hairspray and High School Musical, classics including Flashdance and Fame, and even the teen vampire sensation Twilight.
In DANCE FLICK, Thomas Uncles (Damon Wayans, Jr.), a young street dancer from the wrong side of the tracks, and Megan White (Shoshana Bush), a beautiful young woman who aspires to dance professionally, are brought together by their passion for dancing and put to the test in the mother of all dance battles.
