The Dream: This is my last album.
I think it's safe to say we can add The-Dream to our list of celebrities who don't Twitter. While The-Dream did exclusively confirm with BET.com that "Love King", his third solo effort, is in fact his final project, he did blanket the revelation did not derive from his Twitter account.
Is The-Dream calling it quits after his next LP?
Chatter of The-Dream putting the mic down for good after releasing "Love King" first surfaced via Billboard.com last week. The rumor, which landed on several music blog sites, ignited the universal inquiry, "Why so soon?"
The-Dream explained to BET.com before taping his performance for BET's, Rising Icons, “See this is what’s wrong with the industry right now- ya’ll stay on the internet too much. I don’t even have a Twitter account, and for that to even reach all the way to Billboard.com is just sad.”
After setting the record straight, The-Dream went on to explain that "Love King" is his final contribution to the R&B realm, “Love King” will be my last album," stated the singer/songwriter.
He continued, "I’ve been on the fence about this even before I made “Love Vs Money” [The-Dream’s sophomore release], so I’m in the process of getting ready for that to be the last one and just ride out into the sunset."
In addition to the announcement, The-Dream offered a brief explanation as to why the curtain is set to close after the release of "Love King", "I think the notion about 'killing The-Dream' was, just to clear that up, I rather me stop making records on my own terms versus people getting tired of hearing me. That’s basically what I’m doing," The-Dream clarified.
At press time, "Love King" has yet to snatch a release date. However, according to The-Dream himself, the set will hit stores later this year. (BET)

La Toya Jacksons Tribute song
Home, a song co-written and co-produced by La Toya Jackson and Jeffre Phillips and sung by La Toya Jackson, was written with affection about her childhood memories and based on the premise that no matter where you are or what you are going through in your life, you can always go Home. The label had been planning on releasing another single from the album on this date, but with the passing of La Toya's brother, Michael, the label approached La Toya and Ja-Tail Records about releasing Home instead. La Toya decided if the song was to be released it would be with all the proceeds going to Michael's philanthropic causes.

More Than a Game.........
More Than a Game is a documentary made by Kristopher Belman about basketball superstar LeBron James aka "The Chosen One" and his four high school friends dubbed the "Fab Five." It follows their childhood friendship together and victory at the high school national championship. It's much less about LeBron and his stardom today, and more about how he got to that point and his story.

Chris Brown and Rihanna stay at the same Hotel?
Rihanna and Chris Brown stayed at the same hotel in New York City over the weekend, but it was merely a “coincidence,” a rep for the “Umbrella” star said.
Numerous online reports surfaced over the weekend that Rihanna and Brown had both checked into separate rooms at Trump International Hotel & Tower on Friday. And while rumors circulated that the two had rekindled a romance (something which would violate terms of Brown’s felony plea agreement in Los Angeles, which requires the two to stay at least 50 yards away from each other, 10 yards at industry events), the former couple were not there together, a rep for the star told Access Hollywood.
“This was a coincidence,” Rihanna’s rep told Access. “She’s stayed there before as have thousands of other people.”
In fact, Rihanna was spotted with another singer over the weekend – her pal Katy Perry. The two stepped out for dinner on Friday night before heading out clubbing.

Singer releases new CD featuring current single 'Last Chance.'
R&B singer Ginuwine on Tuesday released his 6th CD, "A Man's Thoughts," via Notify/Asylum/Warner Bros.
The CD features the new Top 10 Billboard R&B hit, "Last Chance," which was released in March amid controversy about the Juwan Lee directed video clip. [Scroll down to watch.
At the time, there were rumors that Ginuwine was dating actress LisaRaye, who was in the midst of her own divorce drama with husband Michael Misick.]
The CD also features the kinetic dance single, "Get Involved," the first collaboration featuring Ginuwine, Timbaland and Missy Elliot in nearly 8 years. The trio all grew up together musically having first collaborated on Ginuwine's 1996 debut, "The Bachelor."
"It feels great to have the original team reunited. The fans have always loved us together and now we're back," commented Ginuwine.
Another track of note on the CD is "Bridge To Love" Ginuwine's slow jam duet with singer-actress Brandy. It marks their first musical pairing.
In addition to Timbaland and Missy, "A Man's Thoughts" was produced by Bryan-Michael Cox, best known for his Grammy Winning work with Mary J. Blige and Usher.

The Dream: I don't need to talk to Lil Wayne right now.
Singer and producer The Dream says he has no immediate plans to talk to Lil Wayne, who is expecting a baby with Nivea – who is The Dream’s ex-wife. It was reported earlier this year that the Lollipop rapper had impregnated Nivea, who already has three children from her marriage to The Dream.
However, the Rockin That Thang singer – who is engaged to singer Christina Milian – says he won’t need to have words with Weezy about the rapper’s relationship with Nivea – unless the pair decides to marry.
“I’ve never met him,” The Dream says of Lil Wayne. “We’re somewhere in the grey area I guess, coz we haven’t had the chance to talk. But I wish him and Nivea the best. If marriage comes up then we’ll definitely need to have a conversation. But right now we don’t need to, coz even though she’s pregnant, there’s no real commitment between them, to the point where we’d need to have a conversation.”
The status of Lil Wayne’s relationship with Nivea is still unclear, and the rapper is also expecting a child with actress Lauren London. (newlilwayne.com)

The Blueprint 3- (Almost Done!)
Hov's new album, the Blueprint 3 has been long awaited by the music industry. In a recent Hot 1079 interview he said the following: "Yeah, pretty much [it's done]," Jay revealed. "You know I still tweak it. I made 'PSA' was the last record I made on The Black Album and 'Give It To Me' was the last record I made on Dynasty. So, I'm always open to recording new records. It's pretty much done, it could go out the door right now. September 11th, the first date, it's the anniversary of the original one, of course it's a tragedy as well so we're going to be doing a lot of great things with charities and everything."
